Originally these cups were spot welded into position during the manufacturing process of our cars. Being so exposed beside the road wheel these welds tend to corrode causing the cup to fall off under the weight of the attached cone. This whole area is allegedly subject to MOT examination, so please take care if things are not as they should be.
SPOG’s cups are faithfully reproduced with an inner recess to hold the rubber cone firmly in position as per the original design.
