Inside the vehicle just below the windscreen are fresh air vents situated behind the dash-board. Restoration in this area often requires the dash-board and these air vent units to be removed.

Each air vent is attached to the bulkhead by five x 5 mm square headed bolts which sit in the plastic housing held firm by metal ring clips, the securing nuts/washers being found under the bonnet. When these nuts are undone for vent removal, the bolts are often seized and shear.

Here are SPOG’s five replacement stainless steel 5 mm square headed bolts with accompanying internally threaded nylon washers to secure these bolts within the fresh air vent housing.
