The Lancaster Bombers have 2 groups consisting of 10 cars which will be starting from Lancaster and Clitheroe before meeting in The Forest of Bowland and continuing up through The Yorkshire Dales to Cumbria where Sunday Roast/Lunch is booked at The Fat Lamb in Ravenstonedale near Kirkby Stephen.

Our route will take us on some of the area’s more “interesting” roads and as these roads are also popular with other car groups, the number of cars will be limited to 12; 12 is commonly regarded by car groups as the maximum number so as to ‘hopefully’ minimise the disruption we may cause and not draw too much attention to ourselves.

Our group is booked in (around noon) for Sunday Roast/Lunch at The Fat Lamb in Ravenstone and as The Fat Lamb is a very popular destination with car groups, it is reasonable to expect that we shall not be the only group there on Drive it Day.
